The Details:

Cost: $85 per player

Schedule:  Regular season games begin Tuesday, January 5, 2010. It will continue each Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (1 game/week) from there on out (Except Super Bowl Sunday) at the brand new Ampro Field House in Primos, PA.  Much larger fields this year than the past couple years!

All teams get at least 10 - TEN!!! - games between regular season and finals.

Games will be played at 8pm and 9 pm on weekdays and hourly from 6pm to 9pm on Sundays.

Finals weekend is March 6-7, 2010 at the Tri-State Sports facility in Primos, PA.  All teams will get at least 2 games during finals.  Most will have all their games on one day during finals, a handful of teams may have games both Saturday and Sunday.

Teams & Games

*** Read carefully before submitting your team, as some things have changed.

Winter League 2010 will have 24 total teams.

There will be a minimum 9 men and 5 women per team.
Cores of 7 allowed, either 5/2 or 4/3.

Point limit for cores: 17 ( P=4, Q=3, R=2, S=1, T/U/V=0 )

Rating guidelines (if more than one guideline applies, use the higher one):
P=4: Is able to make significant contributions to a team at Club Nationals
Q=3: Is able to make significant contributions to a team at Club Regionals or College Nationals.
R=2: Plays on a club team that has made Regionals or Nationals.
S=1: Typically among the top 5 men or top 2 women on a league team, 3 years high school experience, 2 years of college experience, or more that one year of club experience.
T=0: Has 3 or more seasons of league experience, or more than 1 season of college experience.
U=0: Has played ultimate, but less than 3 league seasons and less than 1 full college season (semester).
V=0: Novice/ Never Played.

MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE YOUR RATING FOR EACH PLAYER ON YOUR ROSTER. PLEASE be reasonable with your ratings. We (the league coordinators and super volunteers) reserve the right to request any team roster changes if your team is unfairly stacked or over the point limit.

Games WILL be run according to schedule and a timekeeper will man each game. Fields are reserved per hour, so starting late means not playing a full hour! Games will be held immediately back-to back.

Games will only be canceled due to weather, if the facility is closed.

Game Format

Sprint format, designed for indoor ultimate. Games will be played 6 on 6, generally 4 men, 2 women.

In response to the most recent player survey, in 2010 the stall count will be at 6.
