2010 Mixed Spring League

Welcome to the 2010 Incarnation of PADA's Mixed Spring League.  Mixed Spring League is a fun, laid-back way to get your body and your game back in the flow of Ultimate. The emphasis is on teaching newer players and enjoying the much-rumored global warming-induced sunny afternoons.

Details:

1. Starts on Saturday March 27th.  Games will be played on Saturday March 27th, Saturday April 3rd, Saturday April 10th, Sunday April 18th, Saturday April 24th, Sunday May 2nd and Finals are on Saturday May 8th.  Each team will have one game per weekend at either 10am, 12pm, or 2pm. 
2. The price of Mixed Spring League is $30.
3. Games are at Edgely, near Bala Cynwyd.
4. "Mini-cores" of 4 (2 men, 2 women) encouraged to sign up as a tangled pile of humanity.
5. Liquid refreshments and pretzels provided. The rest is up to you.
6. Timeouts: There will be one timeout per half, with a floater.
7. Score: Play to 15, there will be horns that signal the end of the round. At the sound of the horn, that will be a hard cap.
8. Gender Ratio: 5 men + 2 women. If there aren't enough women, or too many women, then captains can agree to switch the ratio, depending on how many men and women you have show up for each team. If you have enough women, we highly encourage a 4:3 ratio.
9. Parking lot duty: Check the schedule to see when you are assigned.
10. Field Layout: We're sharing space with cricket, so please set up Fields 3-5 as in the image below. Field 6 is the new field across the parking lot.
