PADA Board 2008 Election Announcement

On behalf of the election committee and the current PADA board, we'd like to announce that the 2008 election season has just opened.

Here's a quick summary of important dates for the upcoming election:

  • Anyone wishing to run for the PADA board must so inform the election committee by 8/3.
  • Members will be able to cast ballots in the PADA Baord election between 8/10 and 8/19.

Women's Pick Up Every Other Tuesdays: July 10th and 24th, Edgely 6:30pm

Women's Pick will be held every other Tuesday (only two left: July 10th and 24th) at Edgely at 6:30pm. Open to all skill levels. Please bring a white and a dark shirt. This is a great opportunity to work on your skills and learn more strategy.

Stuck at home for July 4th? Not anymore.....come on out for a hot day of ultimate at Edgely, benefiting Philly's national champion YCC team.

Philadelphia Ultimate Camp IV

The 4th year of the Philadelphia Ultimate Camp is just weeks away! If you know any 10-17 year olds who are looking to have some fun and improve their disc skills, send them our way. A host of PADA luminaries such as Big Rick, Rosser, Andrew Rutledge, and Ben Ditzler will be instructing at the camp June 25-29th.

South Jersey Games Start Monday, 6/4!

Rosters are formed and the games start this Monday (6/4). Check the schedule and other info out here.

This schedule supercedes the one published previously. With a few exceptions (that captains have been notified about), the dates of your games should not have changed. Your opponent or field may have, so please double=check.

Women's Pick Up Tuesday July 10th at Edgely 6:30pm

We'll continue to offer women's only ultimate throughout the summer. We need both novices and veterans there to make it successful. Please bring a a white and a dark shir and plenty of water.

Come join PADA playing autumn ultimate with your friends, huddling under blankets, drinking hot chocolate, heckling teammates, and celebrating the upcoming holiday season!

2010 REGISTRATION OPENS AUGUST 5 at 3pm.

FPSL 2010

Captain's Appreciation Night will be Friday, July 9th.  Please come out to thank your captains and enjoy food from the grill and beverages.  We will also have a DJ playing after the games.

 

Summer League Finals will be on Saturday, August 14th and Sunday, August 15th.  All 56 teams will have at least two games on Saturday and half of the teams will play on Sunday to determine the league champions!  Food, beverages, and entertainment will be provided both days!  Friends and spectators are welcome.

 FPSL 2010 registration is now CLOSED.  

Players registering late can still join the FPSL waitlist.  As players drop out of the league, we will replace them with players from the waitlist.  Waitlist registration can be accessed here.  

FPSL Rosters are nearly complete.  Players should be hearing from their captains shortly.  Please direct any questions to summer AT pada DOT org.
